Parish Hall Re-opening

The newly redecorated Parish Hall is to reopen on Saturday 11 October.

Thanks to generous donations of £1,175 from the citizens of Whitchurch, the costs of the basic repairs and the internal redecoration have almost been met. Bill Judge has also arranged a grant of £2,000 from Hampshire County Council.

Money is still needed to pay for the completion of the external redecoration and the refurbishment of the kitchen. If you want to donate please press here and for regular updates on the Hall press the Parish Hall tab on the left.

Bakers Needed

The Friday Market held in the Gill Nethercott Hall each Friday morning is a great place to buy local produce and have a cup of tea.

One of the main attractions are the home made cakes which sell out very quickly. There is now an opportunity for more home bakers to sell their produce at the market. There's no need to get involved in the selling, that is already taken care, of but bakers can expect to make money for their efforts.

BMX Track is coming

The planning application for the BMX track on Daniel Road has been approved. So Whitchurch could be providing a gold medal contender for the 2012 Olympics!
