Whitchurch Carnival 2010

The weather stayed fine for another great day, with the procession being led by the Salvation Army's Household Troops Marching Band.

The crowds were out in force to hear and see the Household Troops Marching Band march into town and then play a concert in front of the Town Hall almost 120 years to the day from when Salvation Army members won the right to demonstrate for the British people.

At the end of the concert the Festival Committee's Carnival Procession arrived at The Square and were led to the Primary School where the large crowd was able to sample food, games, pony rides, drink and most other forms of entertainment at the fete.
