WHITCHURCH PUB GUIDE
« on: August 27, 2007, 07:45:50 pm »

A new Whitchurch Pub Website is being launched to complement the recently produced Pub Guide Leaflet. It can be visited at:
http://www.whitchurchpubguide.org.uk/

It follows calls that the Town has a wonderful variety of fine pubs that hold together much of the community spirit.
It is hoped the pub website will help both local people and visitors to enjoy the Town's many pubs.

The site has also been launched to be ready for the forthcoming Whitchurch Beer Festival (23-25 November), which has just gained the go ahead for national advertising.

Hopefully it will also be of help to those attending the pub festival being planned at the end of October (26th-28th).

I'm not a 'webbie-techie', so I expect a few glitches, so if any are found, they may look better after a trip down the pub  Cheesy

Any feedback will be most welcome.

 Grin Grin Grin

This weekend there is a beer festival in Basingstoke at the Moose Centre where the Whitchurch events will be highly publicised.
There is also a Hog Roast and Music on Saturday evening.
Next week is the Whitchurch Pub Festival, an excellent initiative with, I believe, lots of special beers around the town. Its definitely a weekend for a pub crawl Grin  Support your local pubs.

A major update on the Whitchurch Beer Festival towards the end of November is that top local blues player Jon Walsh has been booked for the Friday night, while Out of the Blue play on Saturday.
Ticket requests are pouring in from far and wide.
That weekend will see more beers than ever before in Whitchurch.

Whitchurch is a great place for pubs.

For those living in Whitchurch (and those close by), it's the pubs of the town that need your support. Especially when idiots in government come up with tax raising schemes to place a levy on pubs running team in pubs sports leagues when in many cases it's only these activities that are keeping the rural pubs afloat.

Please vist the Town's pubs during the Pubs Festival when there'll be local food and music as well and then please KEEP ON VISITING them
