Grand Opening 28th April

Fifteen years ago a Whitchurch lady had a vision to bring all of Whitchurch activities together under one roof. That dream is now being realised.

The Gill Nethercott Community Centre, Winchester Road, Whitchurch RG28 7AL is our wonderful new venue set right in the heart of Whitchurch on the River Test. This centre will be the ideal venue for the following type of function or event

• Wedding receptions	• Film nights and lectures
• Birthday Parties	• Local business meetings
• Craft, food and book fairs	• Yoga and keep fit clubs
• Activities and events for local people

From the entrance there is a walk way with a glass panel over the Test that takes you into the foyer. The centre will be fully equipped with a main hall which will seat about 100 with a hatch into a kitchen with catering facilities. There is decking outside the main hall thereby extending the size.

A small meeting room will hold approximately 12 people.

The new library will be located on the upper floor and as well as a great selection of books, there will be internet points available for all to use. The views will be very special as well!

Do you want to get involved?

The Gill Nethercott Centre will be a benefit for everyone living in Whitchurch and the surrounding villages. In order for it to realise its full potential, the Association needs local people to support it and get involved.

The Association hopes that many people will decide to become members which will allow them a say in how the centre is used and developed, as well as entitling them to a 10% discount when booking the centre. You will also be sent a newsletter which will contain details of regular and upcoming events.

Membership fees are as follows:

	Family	£5.00 per year
	Adult	£2.50 per year
	Under 18’s	£2.00 per year
