Summer Reading Challenge - Circus Stars
When: Library hours
Where: Gill Nethercott Centre
The Challenge is free and is aimed at children aged 4-11 years. However we want any child who comes into the library and wants to take part to be able to do so. 3 and 4 year olds can share books with their parents
Children are asked to read 6 library books over the summer to get a medal, with stickers to collect along the way. Children can read their books alone or share them with parents, with parents reading it to them. Spoken word tapes/CDs count, but not DVDs
Children will be able to sign up from July 16 and the challenge of reading 6 library books must be completed by the end of the Summer Holidays

Multisport Holiday
When: 9am - 4pm daily
Where: Testbourne Community School
This is for 5 - 12 year olds and introduces new sports and skills to children as well as covering their favourites - The sort of activities included are cricket, tennis, basketball, rounders, dodgeball, Tag Rugby handball and olympic games
All equipment is supplied but you can bring your own if you prefer - but please make sure it is clearly marked
Please bring along waterproofs, a packed lunch and plenty to drink (plastic bottles only) as children will have regular drink/rest periods and don't forget sun protection - please bring sun hats/caps

Where: Wayfarer's Walk in Hampshire
Simon Dutton is aiming to raise �500 to thank North Hants Hospital Neonatal unit and the Southampton Paediatric Intensive Care Unit by covering the 70-mile Wayfarer's Walk in Hampshire in 3 days
Simon aims to walk about 20-25 miles each day to raise money in appreciation of the fantastic care his day-old son Tom received at the two units during the first week of his life
