As part of the 200 year celebrations of the Methodist Church in Whitchurch, a fantastic Sun shines on the opening ceremonyflower festival was arranged. The huge amount of effort that has gone into the organisation of the event and the production of the arrangements themselves has paid off.

Not only was the church bedecked in fantastic arrangments, but the organisers somehow arranged for the sun to come out as Sarah Eberle was formally opening the event.

For the early part of the day children from the Town's 2 schools provided musical accompaniment to the beautiful displays inside and outside the church.

Some arrangements had travelled a long way - Jo Kent, with children from Testbourne school, created several Chelsea Fringe wheelbarrows which were wheeled back to Whitchurch especially for the weekend.
